Holiday Inn Express of Charles Town is a 145 room property located very close to the Charles Town Races and Slots.  However that is not the only attraction that we are of service too.   We are also located a mere 9 miles from the premier Summit Point Raceway, that offers thrilling chase car rides, as well as the opportunity to expand yourself with the most safe and modern Go Cart Rides.  Summit Point offers motor car enthusiast the opportunity to hone there skills on a well constructed and maintained track.   If you are not a motor enthusiast or a Casino Player, we have several very nice Golf Courses for a person or persons to play on that will challenge your golf skills.   If you do not play golf, race cars and or gamble, you can get a rewarding thrill by tubing, kayaking, or running the rapids in a rubber raft with other thrill seekers on the Shenandoah or the Potomac Rivers. 

Now if that still isn’t enough, we have all the history of the Civil War and Pre Colonial days very close by.   We have the Harpers Ferry, National Park with 23 walking trails, The Antietam National Battlefield, The C&O Canal trail and bike path and The Washington Trail.    We have all kinds of Washington family history here to include 7 Washington Homes, some are open for viewing by appointment and all can be viewed by driving on the Washington Trail.   We are also close to the Shop Till You Drop Outlet Center located close to Hagerstown Maryland.   The Appalachian Trail Enthusiast can take a brake and relax with us also as we are not very far from several stops on the trail which runs right through the Harpers Ferry National Park.
